Description: Third Leg runners will find themselves amidst the overhanging branches of Mandan Park as they start running. The tall tree trend continues even after runners make it out of the switchback roads of the park and onto the brick roads of Bellevue Blvd. Bellevue Blvd runs through a classic neighborhood which sometimes borders Fontenelle Forest, an area that was Nebraska’s 1st community. This leg of the race is almost entirely uphill but is a slow gradual incline that borders some of Nebraska’s historical areas.
