BEFORE September 9th
Switching Divisions and Runner Substitutions
If you want to add a Special Division, Change Divisions or Substitute Runners before September 9, please do not do anything until you receive your Captain’s Confirmation E-mail on Wednesday, September 3.
Captain’s Confirmation E-mail: On September 3, 2008, an e-mail will go out to all captains entered into the race. You will receive a confirmation e-mail making sure that:
[1] The runners on your team are still the same; and
[2] You have not decided to change Divisions or Add/Remove a Special Division.
Captains will make appropriate changes to their team at this time and sign the form confirming that any additional changes to this form will, and will not be charged an EXTRA FEE of $25.
AFTER September 9th
Runner Substitutions, Additions, and/or Division Changes
To make a change to your team roster after September 9th, a $25 fee will be charged.
STEPS

Runner(s) Added: Names(s), Age(s), Email Address(es), 5K Time(s) and Shirt Size(s) (Write ADDITION in Name Field)
Current Division:
Division Changing To or Special Division Addition:
[2] PayPal Invoice $25 and a waiver will be emailed to the team captain.
[3] Pay the PayPal Invoice and email back the waiver form.
RACE WEEK AND RACE DAY CHANGES:
Any changes the week of the race or the race day will be made at the
"Staging Area.
Changes to Report:
Runner Substitutions or Additions: Team Captain and new runner report to CHANGES area at the Staging Area. Fill out appropriate forms and waivers. A $25 Fee will be assessed to make this change and the new runner or the Team Captain cannot be Runner 1.
4 Team Members or Less Teams will not be allowed to participate with only 4 runners at the start. Go to the CHANGES area to see if any additional last-minute runners showed up. A $25 Fee will be assessed to make this change and the new runner or the Team Captain cannot be Runner 1. If there are no additional runners, you are out of luck.
Change in Division (only if competing for awards): Team Captain reports to CHANGES area asking to change Divisions or add a Special Division. A $25 fee will be assessed for any changes in Divisions. If a change is not made and you no longer qualify for a certain division, you will be allowed to participate in the race, but can not qualify for any awards.
Do NOT Report:
Only 5 Runners Please refer to the substitution rule in the Official Rules if you still would like to be eligible for an award.
Missing team member(s) at the start of the race: The substitution rule ONLY applies if you have 5 people at the start of the race. A team with only 4 runners at the start will not be allowed to compete in the event. A 7-person team missing one runner or an 8-person team missing one or two runners will be treated like a 7- or 6-person team accordingly. DO NOT report these changes at the
"Staging Area.
