Rubbish Removal Contest

Each team will receive two 55-gallon trash bags in their race day packets. The trash bags are for trash and items that can be recycled. Teams will collect trash, either created by the team or picked up along the course, throughout the day. Each team competing in this competition will weigh their rubbish at the end of the day at the After Party and Race Day Expo.
Points will be awarded as follows:
1/2 lb. of trash = 1 point
1/2 lb. of recyclables = 3 points
The top three teams with the most points will be recognized for their efforts at the awards ceremony.
Points count towards the Corporate Wellness Challenge

Best Team Costume Contest

To win the Team Costume Contest, each team member must be wearing a costume and run in the costume. Teams wearing costumes at the start but removing them during the race will be disqualified from the competition.
The best team costume award will be voted on by your running peers. Group pictures of each team competing in the costume contest can be taken the night before or at Rosenblatt before the race. A complete voting photo sheet will be distributed to every team at the Sarpy County Fair Grounds, Exchange Point 12. Each team will then have the opportunity to vote on the best costume and turn in their voting photo sheet at the finish line.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Note: Teams competing in this competition, please arrive at the staging area early to take your competition photos if they weren’t taken the night before.
Points count towards the Corporate Wellness Challenge

Best Decorated Vehicle

No overly sexual, suggestive or foul language used in vehicle decorations. Your team may be assessed a running penalty for use of any of the above discretions. Thank you for your help. We absolutely want to keep this crazy and fun, so please use good judgment. Don't make us get out the van decoration police!
Pictures of vehicles will be taken at Hayworth Park, Exchange Point 5. Volunteers will direct decorated vehicles to the designated van picture area. Voting photo sheets will be distributed to teams at Walton, NE, Exchange Point 21. Each team will then have the opportunity to vote on the best-decorated vehicle and turn in the voting photo sheet at the finish line.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.

Flamingo Safari

24 plastic flamingos will be located throughout the course. All flamingos will have a unique artistic design. Runners will be given Official Flamingo Safari score sheets – spot the flamingos while running and identify their locations! The team with the most correct birds spotted wins this competition.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
All Contest Tie Breakers: Paper, rock, scissors will be the tie breaker for all competitions.
